  • Ideas on Seminar/classes:
    • Preperation for performance –> one of the judges?
    • Alexander Technique –> David
    • Injury Prevention –> David
    • Piano Technonolgy –> Thomas
  • Preliminary: timing calculated based on 50 participants, 10 min per person
    –> approx. 5 person/hr, 25 person/day == 5 hrs each day + 1 hr break in between
  • Semifinal: 12 people, 20 min/person
    –> approx. 3 person/hr == 4 hrs + 1 hr break in between
  • Final: 6 people, 30 min/person
    3 hrs + 30 min break
  • Masterclass: can be by the juror member or by special invitation
  • Reception on June 26: consider having performances, either by jury member or participants
  • Venue for the finals: Dance center next to the Sherwood Conervatory –> Thomas
  • Award Ceremony: which Yacht house? –> David? Thomas?

Ideas for the Day(s) of event

  • Benchs: have two alternate benches/or use hydrolic benches
  • Stage person: be nice to have one!
  • Announcer: find someone with an attractive voice that engages the audience! –> Thomas
  • Coffee bar: Catering (Whole foods)? Can be set up in the kitchen area. People will pay, but it’s good to have real food available
  • Can arrange other performance venues in the neighborhood. For example, Montgomery Place, etc … (Janet)
